Artist's Confession

The right spot-07.jpg

“ME, Artist Confession” is a self-reflection series that portrays a state of anticipation, an ongoing preparation for the moment when my creation can fully emerge into visibility. It speaks to the quiet tension between creation and exposure, between patience and the desire to be seen.

This idea is heavily based on the concept of action and reaction. The hope of receiving a reaction is translated into a springboard, a key motif in the ״ME״ series. Your creation is launched into the world, but you have no control over when the reaction will come, if it will come at all. Yet you still cling to the belief and the uncontrollable urge to create. This element embodies a delicate equilibrium, where a single touch on one side of the springboard inevitably lifts the other. It becomes a metaphor for cause and effect: at the right time, even the smallest action can initiate transformation. By standing on the springboard, you risk either being lifted up or facing endless waiting and disappointment.

As an artist, I expose myself through my work. This need to express something within me, combined with the desire to reach an audience and share that feeling, urges me to invest in the groundwork. In the end, all that remains is to wait, to look up, and to hope that what you’ve sent out will be received and lift yourself upwards. The process behind this series is rooted in readiness, a personal alignment of timing, participation, and the longing for elevation, both emotionally and artistically.
